1. Required operating environment

The Pocketstudio 5 can be used with a PC-AT-compatible computer
running Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
The computer must be fitted with a USB interface.
The Pocketstudio 5 can be used with an iMac, iBook, Power Mac
G3/G4 or a PowerBook G3/G4 running Mac OS 9.

2. Notes on use

Only one Pocketstudio 5 at a time can be connected to any one
computer.
Although the Pocketstudio 5 is "hot-pluggable", we recommend that
the unit is turned off before connecting or disconnecting the unit
from a computer.
Do not connect or disconnect the unit many times in succession, as
this may "confuse" the operating system of the computer, and even
cause a crash or a freeze.
With Windows Me, 2000 and XP, use the system tray "hot plug" icon
to disconnect the unit from the OS before physically disconnecting
the unit.
If you happen to have the Pocketstudio 5 connected to your computer
and turned on while you are installing or upgrading Windows or Mac
OS, do not unplug the Pocketstudio 5 during the installation or
upgrade process.
